Junior is coming home!!!!!!!
I am way stoked about it too. Not only will he put asses in the seats, but I beleive he can help out in the clubhouse as well - sort of bringing it together. Not to mention that he can still be productive as an outfielder and DH.
Welcome home, Ken Griffey, Jr!!!!!

Sammi: Wanna just break up?
the JR. doesnt hit over .240 this year...........
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
Go M's!!
The M's look a little leaner this year. We got rid of a bunch of wasted space from last year. I am not thinking we will win the world series or anything (and, because of the time of year, i don't have to rule it out either yet ), but I really just hope to be competitive. If our pitching line up can actually hold their own this year, and if our bats can come alive, and if the team can come together around the hopeful leadership of Ken Griffey, Jr., then we just may have a shot at something exciting this year.
I'm guessing it'll be a month until Morrow is closing games. They've got no one else to do it ... I read a report that they wanted to give a shot to Miguel Batista to close ... REALLY? The back end of their bullpen is really lacking. (nice pickup on Aardsma, though)

Wish someone would pay me $2M/yr for MY intangibles!

I don't think the pitching will be the problem.
The only team in the AL that had a worse offense was Oakland and they picked up Holiday and Giambi.
Can we trade him for a case of Jones Soda and some Ivar's?
Till there aint nothing left worth taking away from me.....
And, Jr tied Hall of Famer Frank Robinson for the most Opening Day home runs in Major League history with 8!!!
Felix pitched real well even with a twisted ankle.
Go M's!!!

Don't count on it.
