Did anybody get the Live From The Vault: Volume 4 Package?
I wasn't at first, but thought to myself:
1) It's vintage '94 Hip
2) Set list is rediculous
3) The $14 CAD I would drop in a heartbeat just for the Live Cd
The offer is on until the 27th I believe so check it out
I was kind of surprised that I got right through at 10am for the Seattle show, but the best that came up was 10th row center...oh, well, I will be at the Moore...but, will be wondering how that many people got through before me!
I will not lose my Faith, it's an Inside job today....

I hesitated and now I wish I hadn't I just had a bad experience... I bought Hold Steady's new cd with concert tickets last summer and the CD didn't get to me until 2 weeks after the release date... I barely got it in time for the show! So I'm leery of this. Of course, part of me wonders if I'll be able to find the Hip's cd anywhere in Chicago anyway...
if anybody knows of any further presales (ie, radio or livenation) for the seattle moore theatre show....please let me know, i totally missed that today....thanks

I guess nobody wanted to see them in Kitchener! I pulled up ORC BB (second row) for the third Kitchener show and ORC HH (row 8) for the first night. I am not complaining

Alright who here is hitting The Fillmore in Detroit? I got Mezzanine tix for the 29th and main floor for the 30th. Also going to Massey Hall for the last night, 16th.

BTW, if you guys are torrent savvy, look for a torrent called
TRAGICALLY HIP BOOTLEGS 1985-1995
and then look for a set of songs within that called ROAD APPLES ALBUM PREMIER.
its fuckin awesome. its from 91 on a radio station and the HIP are interviewed before each song and tells you about it. really cool. each interview before the song is a good 2-3 minutes. lots of insight.

SO HERE IS WHAT I GOT: (i had to work immediately after the sale)
VANCOUVER
NIGHT 1 - ORC RC ROW 16
NIGHT 2 - ORC R ROW 15
NIGHT 3 - DC R ROW 1
Not bad at all. May try to upgrade to front row for the final show.
Niiiiiiice. I was trying for Night #3 but was having some browser/ slow, old computer issues, so I ended up with a Monday nighter, waaaaay in the back (19th row, R. UB), but I'm in the aisle seat on the far right (170) ... which will likely make for a fantastic sight line.
Just happy to be in the building.
I hate that TM puts so many on-sale dates on weekday mornings, 'cause I don't have computer access at work. I would have preferred trying tomorrow's public on-sale considering that pre-sales are only allocated so many "good" seats, but had to make my attempt today due to that pesky work thing. I'd have to wait until 11 before I could phone in. I was able to try today 'cause my dog needs a liver biopsy, so I called in "sick" since management are being douchebags about vacation right now. If the results of the biopsy aren't good, at least I can take something positive away from today.

I'll be at the Saturday show with the girlfriend, on the floor I think.
Thanks. Just heard from the vet - the procedure itself went smoothly, except that the local anaesthetic wasn't strong enough to keep him from squirming; they had to gas the little bugger. :P
so i ended up upgrading my night 2 row 15 to row 9, then bought two more single seats in the second row. so i have some tickets to get rid of. anybody in vancouver looking for night 2, let me know. face value. 220$ pair.

There's a single in Orch. row 6 (right side, I think the seat # was 68) for Wednesday night, but I've decided against it since so many other artists are touring/releasing albums this year, too; need to hang on to some cash for all of that - Very tempting, though, to be that close.
