The charges were dropped. As for dumbshit, I am just sick of people spouting crap like "Obama should be arrested for treason", "I don't think getting your head dunked or loud music, sleep deprivation constitutes as torture","This country has become a bunch of pussies and its ridiculous", and "Its probably going to take another terrorist attack to wake you fcks up" -- then getting upset when someone refers to them in a negative way. I apologize for using the word dumbshit -- I should have been polite and used dunderhead or dolt.

I know you were referring to 9/11. That was my point. You weren't speaking rationally about a trial for the people that bombed the USS Cole... you descended into ranting about terrorism generally with no logic. I am glad torture and killing is not what you want to see either. All anyone here has said is that we should not be torturing people and that we should be sure we have the right people before we start dishing out torture, trials, and punishment. I get the feeling you agree with that. So I don't see what everyone's problem is here.

why thank you soulsinging I appreciate that. I know I have a tendency to rant and get off topic sometimes so I apologize for doing so but I really think and I might be wrong, but people just don't care anymore or maybe some of the posters were to young when 911 happend.I was 27 when it happened and i will never forget the way I felt .I also think some people dont understand the type of people we are dealing with.

Okay I agree I shouldnt have said that about obama.That was immature but like I said before If this guy walks and he is guilty somebody is going to have some explaining to do.

I don't know about that. I don't think anyone here was being flippant about the USS Cole and I think they do understand what kind of people we're dealing with... that's why they're very concerned about making sure we don't become like those people. Some of your comments about us being pussies because we don't torture people rubbed them the wrong way... it sounded like you were encouraging the same sort of behavior your were condeming "those kinds of people" for.
