That's how much the deluxe version of "Ten" will cost me?

Thank God Pearl Jam is so against "corporate greed."

hahaha... yeah, well when I saw on the Virginia Beach line up flier that Pearl Jam was sponsored by Bud Light (most shows were not sponsored), that made me question whether they are going to harp on anyone else again.

...though they do offer many different version of ten...

Yeah what a bunch of sellouts.

Shame on them for not consulting you first on what you "joe fanboy" feels to be a fair and reasonable price for a box set of "SPECIAL" collectibles, and "RARE" "UNRELEASED" material.

    Greedy bastards.
Don't they have any morals? credability?

How dare they try and sell their music.

    They're worse than Walmart

I like how people seem to believe this is pure profit for Pearl Jam. Like all 5 members get $28 and that is how it works. People believe that it doesn't cost any money to press 4 (quality) vinyls, make 2 cds, a dvd and all the other goodies. Or that Sony, Brendan O'Brien, Rick Parashar, and plenty of other people included in the process don't get any money.

If you don't want to pay that much, don't buy it! It is simple. This is not a requirement. Pearl Jam is trying to do something nice for fans, and yes, it will cost a nice chunk of change, because it takes a nice chunk of change to put together. Are people really this ignorant or uneducated, or whatever, to not understand how these sort of things work?

Pearl Jam is clearly the problem here. Sony only wanted to charge $49.99 for the Double Secret Probation package, but then Pearl Jam stepped in and said they wanted need $90 more per copy because, you know, they don't care about their fans and shit like that.

If you don't like the price, then please don't buy it. Simple as that.

if you actually stop and look at everything in the box set and consider how much each item would cost...it isn't overpriced. its not really a money saver...the price is just right.

Well....Best Buy has a pre-order up for....what $125??? But for us US citizens (sucks for everyone else) we get 'free' shipping.

I look at the $15 more as the shipping cost then anything else.

    Hmmm...Okay
You seem to be missing a very key point here...

    CAKE ISN'T PEARL JAM!!!

I don't think the demand would be there for Cake's first album even if they did charge $145.00
