$225 for the black vinyl version, $499 for the signed colored version.

I just couldnt buy this, it's too much. Its a terrible way to start off your experience of a new album by forking out that kind of money.

Hopefully they do a regular release which given its 4 LPs will still no doubt be very expensive. New tracks are okay, not sure what to make of them yet. Quite different but would also like to hear a bit more before I would even spend $30.

After reading the description this could  very well be a brilliant album or a total train wreck

So I’ll wait even if I regret it later

     Certainly  a bold statement:

The 33 track, 3 act rock opera, twelfth studio album will act as sequal to 1995's Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness and 2000's Machina/ The Machine of God

Though I’d prefer to drop money on any deluxe Machina reissue first. Man I am
    looking forward to that one.

You are screwed then.  If it’s a trilogy MCIS, Machina, and this you need them all

it’s like lord of the rings and skipping Return of the King
    that just doesn’t work

I don’t understand any of the character stories that these albums are about though. I need an Honest Trailer to get up to speed!

I missed the important bit in all this. April 2023.
7 months out for a preorder seems a bit excessive. Just announce it in January then. It’s going to sell out pretty quick regardless

    Passing on a $225 album...
You would think this (the AIC box set) etc would put the AP UHQR price complaints in perspective.

you are paying for 33rpm, who knows who pressed it or mastered it, what source, standard vinyl for a lot more money

I fail to see how it’s remotely in the same league of excess as these crazy prices for what is a fairly normal and probably non audiophile box set

The other two are on the thirty-three podcast that Corgan is doing. He's releasing one every week with a song from the album.

Isn't that opening riff a Metallica song?
