seeing a game at Wrigley Field was everything i had hoped for and more, a lot more.

you just don't get the same feeling at these cookie cutter mega-million dollar,
deliver a prime rib sandwich and a cosmo to your seat completely impersonal newer parks.

    can't wait to go back.

i just wish i would have brought a broom.

    Go Cubs!

Glad you had a good time!!

    Where were your seats?

had a wonderful time just soaking up all of the charm and the sunshine.

not the best seats, 506 top row, not that i cared.
actually we had a great view of the field. i was just thrilled to be there.
    Nice shirt.

Just a bit. I've come to expect beatings though whenever the Cardinals go down to Houston.

Wait a minute, they are still playing ball? Wasn't the season over with the Soriano grand slam the other night? I actually thought the Cubs won something significant ;) ..

  • I think that earlier in this thread you will see that I predicted that the offense would come to life once Ramirez came back.... not exactly a groundbreaking theory, but it cam true..... Keep it up Cubs!

yup. that one hurt even more. actually, it's been a painful week to be an Astros fan. it's always up and down. i hope they play better against the Cards...otherwise, it'll be a long road back into contention.

  • Back in first, got a little left handed bullpen help... not bad. Now they just need someone to play second and left-that can hit.

Glad they won last night, but that sure wasn't a good win. When your up 6-0 that should be enough, when your up 8-5 in the 9th that should be enough too. Marmol needs to get his head out of his ass, and Gregg needs to learn how to close games out.
