    i will be staying at the Hotel Costa Rica Morazan in San Jose for 2 nights, and then at Jaco Beach at an old friend's place for a few days
    never been before. can't wait

    nice--we went to Jaco & surfed one day & hung out around town. it was a cool place. we were staying not to far from there @ Los Suenos on Herradura. our only regret is that we didn't extend our stay for a couple of days in San Jose. we got off the plane & went straight to our hotel (3+ hr drive through the mountains...absolutely beautiful). we'll make it there again soon & plan on staying in San Jose for a few days. from what we've heard/seen, it's a beautiful city with an amazing history. enjoy, man!!! 8-)

    good stuff. i've actually never surfed. gonna try this time. lived in florida 6 years and never tried. f'ing locals talking shit always made me not wanna :oops: :evil: :roll:

    Jaco Beach is a great place to surf. Talk to your friend that lives there to find the good local surf spots. We talked to our driver when heading to our hotel & he told us where to go. If you surf right off the downtown area, those spots have a ton of people. It's be best for you to find a secluded spot so you can really enjoy yourself & not worry about running into people! 8-)
