They’re not too abusive of the tree itself; they’ll chase each other around & fight under it, Chains (the tortie) will run from the other room, jump & slide on the skirt... but that’s it, they don’t really f w/ the ornaments too much. & when they do they scramble from the slightest yell out of me, they know it’s off limits.
Edit: I recorded a great brawl under the tree last year, I’ll see if I can’t get a couple good stills. (The lighting was tough)

We’ve had to shoo the little one from wires. She’s already discovered the hanging lights...which are now crooked 😠

Here, the calm before the storm:

Very cute @hedonist - We’re fortunate, our cats mostly stay away from wires & cords. & they’re too big to climb the tree.

Nothing like a warm lap on a cold night when someone is sitting and knitting!

It’s such a blast, GG! I’d almost forgotten what it was like to have a true kitten. It’s been more than ten years since we brought George home. She’s brought out his young self :)

They are fun when they are young. Daisy is three years old and she is still a little troublemaker. Today she pulled all the paper out of this box. Cheeky little thing.

A box, some paper, and they’re happy!

I have one of those toys. Neither of my cats play with it anymore. Glad yours is getting some use. Super cute.

Is that a Beatles Lego set??!!!!!

It is, GG!  My closest cousin is an even bigger Beatles lover than I (he freaked out more than my husband and I did when I told him we happened to get seated next to Sir Paul at a restaurant a few years ago).  I gave him Happy Socks - he beat fucking cancer last month! - and he gave that :)

And I'll tell ya, Flea spent a good half hour playing with that toy!  There's another arriving today - one of those interactive roll-y things with feathers and balls.

I need to do the Lego thing without curious little paws around

That is amazing :bee: . You must post photos of the completed Lego masterpiece. Yes, you will need to find a kitty-free space to work on that or you will probably have Lego's flying everywhere. That is great that your cousin beat cancer. Something to celebrate!!!
I am sure Flea loves all her toys. At that age they are so interested in everything. Mine get excited about some toys, but others just don't hold their attention anymore. They both love that flying feather thing on the pole though. I think all cats love that one.
