I wish they would've! Poor things must have been so confused and "The fuck? That's not how this is supposed to work."0
-
Yeah, that's horrible. Poor things. Dangerous too. A cat can actually break its back thrashing around like that. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0

So happy I decided to take Fenris with me on my trip to Chicago! He was a bit nervous for the first few hours but then he relaxed and enjoyed the next 5 days! Once he got his groove in the car he ate treats and even used his pan a few times. In the hotel he had no problems at all. He made himself totally at home. I am so proud of him!!!

Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!0 -
He's just such a beauty, Sprunk. And it is so cool you shared your now-I-can-finally-breathe time with him.
Our Beans lays in that same comfy position, but with a bit more of her belly exposed.
(clearly inviting rubs and nuzzling)0 -
That's the "Thank you for the new bed, human. Now, go away and sleep on the floor" pose
Beautiful cat.0 -
freakin dude, he also liked sleeping right on my pillow which he doesn't do at home. I brought the fuzzy blanket he likes to sleep on near the bottom of my bed every night but on vacation he didn't want anything to do with it. Funny creatures but oh so lovable!Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!0

I spent 10 bucks on a scratch box made of cardboard. Fen loves it to death. Lays on it, sleeps on it, rolls around on it and claws the bejesus out of it!

We have a couple of these for ours:
They use it but STILL scratch the couch!0 -
Yes, I have one of these too, and it is the only thing my cat ever scratches. She absolutely loves it. I am so proud of her, lol. My other cat (deceased) scratched the furniture like mad and there was nothing that could stop her. I am so relieved that the surviving kitty isn't inclined to do the same. It's the scratching issue that will probably prevent me from getting another cat after Sid passes (hopefully a long long time from now). I think scratching or not scratching furniture depends largely on a cat's disposition, and I don't think I am willing to take the risk again. I am so lucky with Sid - she is as well behaved as a cat can possibly be in all regards. But I might not get so lucky with another cat. I loved Jonesy, my cat that died a couple years ago, but she had a lot of terrible habits that couldn't be broken, not to mention chronic medical probs. I don't think I can take the chance again. So yeah, hopefully my perfect Sid (besides the damned cat hair!) is with me for a very long time, since she may be my last kitty for a long long time. Maybe ever.Sprunkn7 said:I spent 10 bucks on a scratch box made of cardboard. Fen loves it to death. Lays on it, sleeps on it, rolls around on it and claws the bejesus out of it!

Aww PJ Soul. The Mr didn't want another cat after our last one. He was sooooo attached and didn't think he could be "replaced". I get it but after almost 4 yrs I was ready. We got a one year old from the "dump" (aka rescue). I went that way because by then the personality is already a bit apparent. If the cat is friendly or aloof is pretty much seen. I think maybe the the scratching would too? Anyway, you have a cat now!!! Yay!!!!Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!0

My cat Annie is a complete, total asparagus ADDICT! If I'm cooking asparagus, she relentlessly cries for her share. Even if there is just cold asparagus in the refrigerator, she knows it and demands I give her some! Asparagus season in taxing my nerves!! But it's Annie... she get's her way."It's a sad and beautiful world"-Roberto Benigni0

As if cat pee didn't smell bad enough
B, careful with how much she eats of it. From the caster.com page:
It is neither toxic nor dangerous for our cats to consume in very small portions, but neither is it truly beneficial to them.
Cats are obligate carnivores. Unlike dogs, who can and do eat everything they can wrap their jaws around, cats tend to be much more finicky eaters. They will certainly express curiosity and interest in a new smell or taste, but food for cats is most beneficial to them when it is high in proteins and fats that come from meat. The primary risk to a cat who eats asparagus regularly is its high alkaline content. Too much asparagus can adversely affect the chemical makeup of their urine, and, over time, lead to urinary tract blockages.0 -
