  • Dare i say Jon Beason has been a difference maker? The guy makes plays. Not something we've had at LB in about 20 years
Rolle is putting together a hell of season too. Those dudes carrying this team.

Interesting that Beason is a Giant because he lost his spot to a former Giant. I wonder how much he factored in the Panthers' 38-0 beat-down of the G-Men.

The Giants are still -64 in net points. I wonder what that number will look like at the end of the season.

Yeah, that was a surreally bad game, but the Panthers have turned out to be pretty good, so I guess I'm not as shocked.

-53 is pretty conservative. My most optimistic guess would be in the -20s. Incidentally, -64 is good for 8th worst in the league.

Been nice to see them win some games here but still have almost no confidence in this team. Wins are wins in the NFL but haven't really beaten anyone and haven't looked all that great in the wins.

I went through the rest of the games and figured they will be beaten pretty badly by Seattle.

As bad as the Cowboys are, they are the first team in 6 weeks the Giants will face that actually has a QB.

And they still almost lost 2 of the 4 games.

The Giants are a bad team.

Much like the Jets when you are 5-5 or 4-6 and your point differential is -3,000 you are a bad team.
Sorry. The world doesn't work the way you tell it to.
  • Josh Freeman 1st game with new team in the middle of the season after being dumped by a team that would be 0-8 before winning a game
    Matt Barkley
    Tyrelle Pryor
    Scott Tolzien

There's a murderers row for ya. Loving the line that the Giants fans will produce on this game.

Yeah, the Giants still have a steep climb and a lot to prove. I don't expect them to do anything this season and would be happy with 9-7; heck, 7-9 wouldn't look bad after the miserable 0-6 start.

Dallas's D sucks, but their O is fairly potent. It will be a big test for the Giants' D.

Seattle is probably the NFC's best team, if net points is any indication. Major roadblock for the G-Men if they have any designs on getting to the playoffs.

They have no shot at going 5-1 here on out. That would put them at 9-1 after the 0-6 start. This team is bad, that's not happening.

No, probably not. I see 3, maybe 4 wins on that schedule. I think they can beat Dallas but we'll see. I don't think Detroit is any great shakes either, but I'll forecast it as a loss for the nonce.

There's also a faint possibility that the 0-6 start was a huge anomaly

Yeah, they had a chance at beating Dallas and Chicago. But they'd still have been outscored by a lot since they were blown out in between. Kind of an "almost win sandwich" with "blown out filling".
