I didn't watch the draft (I did last year), so thank you for the summary.

So bottom line is .... what did we get and which one is the QB and how good is he. Did we get any O line help?

And how did the ownership screw up the number 6 pick?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Yesterday was only the first round. We got a qb and traded for Seattle's 30th pick and chose a CB.

I don't mind picking Jones. It's just where they drafted him. They needed that edge rusher
Exactly. Even if he works out, it was a wasted pick at 6.
Same.  Just like trading Beckham. Have no problem with it other than when they did it. Even if Jones end up being good, if Allen turns out to be real good, which I think he will, we will always be remembered as the ones who passed on him... maybe Oliver.  Even Williams would be a better pick at 6 IMO. Dave Gettleman's dealings are like those of a guy who would buy overpriced car parts from Auto Zone instead of getting a better deal on Ebay or Amazon, just because he wants it now.

Gettleman says he knows for a fact that two teams would have taken jones before 17

A kid died in the shooting, not really a funny story.

Shall we run down the list of all the atrocities Cowboys players have committed over the years you've been rooting for them? At least Vick served a serious amount of time for his crime and came out a changed man.

Tiger Woods is a great comeback story.

Vick served his time, but the stain of what he did remains.

Plaxico was a fucken idiot and I was happy when he was gone.

We could've won back to back SB if Plaxico didn't do what he did. Then who knows what happens after that?

That's why even if they are talented, it is best to avoid fucking idiots. They shoot themselves in the foot and it screws up your season. Don't need that drama on what would be considered an authentic Giants team. Just think of what he did to team morale. That was more detrimental to the team than the loss of a great player. You can replace a great linebacker, you never know what is going to happen to a team with bad mojo.

All we're missing is a Skin's fan and we'd have the entire NFL East represented. Are there many of those?

I'm  not gonna know any players.

A couple additions is easy, but this is gonna be confusing as heck in the beginning of the season.

Should be interesting when we play against whatever team took Odell. We're still paying him, no? Or we just can't get any high salary players because Odell capped us for a couple years?
