    it worked!

    i lost the old emails i had, but it works now! uninstalled the whole earthlink thing again, did a defrag, restarted, and then installed again....seems to be fine now. thanks again for your guys' help, you rock :D

    holy shit i was right?!?!?!......;):D......glad to hear it chiqui.......i betcha you had a corrupt email and that's why it works now......:)

    yeah i thought it was strange the system restore wouldn't take...i thought that was a sure-fire way. thanks for your help!
