and this weekend is the perfect example of the ridiculousness of it. have to go to at least 3 different places for even a small super bowl get together. beer, wine, snacks. just absurd. can't wait to be able to get all of that in a supermarket or even a wawa.0 -

It's absurd. I didn't catch the timing he is looking at, anyone know off hand?0 -

seriously. now if we can just get the horrendous drivers to figure out what keep right, pass left means.
lived and spent time (via sales territories) in a bunch of different states. hands down the worst drivers you will find0 -

anyone here still have phils tix? paid mine off this week, but I split my package in half so I don't have to go watch the awfulness as much
Yeah I still have the 4 seats. Hope I don't get stuck with too many. disagree. the dc area is worse. this includes northern virginia and southern maryland. too many transients down there. lived down there for about a year and was amazed by how bad it was. plus, you get a couple inches of snow and nobody knows what to do.www.myspace.com0 -

Also, Franklin Mortgage was disappointing. Bunch of overpriced drinks with elaborate descriptions. cool concept, but not a place I'd rush back to. Much rather just hit the Irish Pub for Jameson and Guinness0

No way man. Traffic is worse down there, but the drivers aren't.
Last week I got my car serviced at Scott Honda in West Chester. 20 mins from my place in havertown. Took me almost 3 hours round trip because of an inch of snow.
I'm embarrassed to possess a PA license and plates.0 -
Drivers in Maryland are horrendous. I just get in the far right lane to pass everyone down there.Spectrum 10/27/09; New Orleans JazzFest 5/1/10; Made in America 9/2/12; Phila, PA 10/21/13; Phila, PA 10/22/13; Baltimore Arena 10/27/13; Phila, PA 4/28/16; Phila, PA 4/29/16; Fenway Park 8/7/16; Fenway Park 9/2/18; Asbury Park 9/18/21; Camden 9/14/22; Las Vegas 5/16/24; Las Vegas 5/18/24; Phila, PA 9/7/24; Phila, PA 9/9/24; Baltimore Arena 9/12/24; Pittsburgh 5/16/25; Pittsburgh 5/18/25

I went to school there...worked down there for last 2.5 years. It's like nascar down there compared to PA.
They even know how to merge without coming to a complete stop. First time I ever saw a highway on ramp with a traffic light, I almost rear ended the shit out of the car in front of me. That's one of a billion things that I hate about pittsburgh. great addition to the blue route :roll:0 -
agree to disagree.
accoring to allstate, dc has far and away the highest accident rate:

this doesn't mean anything. PA drivers don't go fast enough to cause accidents. I swear they think the gas pedal is the one on the left.
Also, driving in the city of DC is one of the worst experiences anyone can have. Just look at a map. I heard that intersections were designed so that it's difficult to get in/out of the city. They also have all kinds of speed cameras in Maryland/DC, which makes it annoying. Still better than the awfulness that is PA though0 -

accident rates doesn't equal bad drivers. being slow, stupid, and overly cautious isn't always measured by accident rates
keep right, pass left aint a difficult concept. excpet for PA drivers
I ask my wife all the time if people in PA have to take drivers ed in high school. I don't believe that they do.0 -
well according to the all state insurance company, accident rates do equal bad drivers. so i will side with them on this.
lots of bad drivers here too. no doubt. i just remember being shocked at how much worse it was down there. it probably has a lot to do with so many people being relatively new to the area and stuff.www.myspace.com0 -

I'm in the car all the time for my job. There are no drivers worse than PA. I don't care what anyone says.
Also, of course there are going to be higher accident rates in a city than there are in a state. but don't let common sense get in your way0 -

common sense would be actual proof supplied by the country's 2nd biggest car insurance company...which, of course, you disagreed with.
didn't see any state by state comparisons anyway.Post edited by The Juggler onwww.myspace.com0
