You guys were probably more shocked than us that night. Was there a Spectrum show that night or was it the night off?
Nah, no show that night, I don't think. I think there were shows during Game 1 and 3. Good times.Edit: And yes, I was pleasntly surprised.
definitely was an off night for PJ. greatest game Burnett ever pitched i think. he was unhittable that night. and if the Phils won that game it would have been over up 2-0 going back to CBP. but wasn't meant to be and well charlie fucked us with pedro. but i digress.
this bullpen is just atrocious. and charlie tried to get 9 innings out of it last night. what a buffoon. and of course kendrick blows. bullpen is destroying this season before we can even get re-started with chase and ryan.
i know they talked about ryan not looking bad in the paper, but man he looks fat to me. he is going to be even slower than normal, which i didn't think was all that possible.0 -

he's getting old. been that way since 09 when he started to suck
amaro is awful. so is manuel. they should fight to the death. then the winner should get shot in the face
this team blows. anyone holding out hope needs to give it up. they suck and the people they have in charge aren't capable of fixing things.
jackie bradley jr (guy picked after larry greene last year) is on his way to being a CF in the majors next summer. would have been nice to have him as victorino's replacement
this franchise is a complete disaster0 -
Sad night in America. Liberties changed owners. Last banger tonight. Pretty wild. Met the woman in the Spectrum...gone. Hung out at Liberties many o' days......gone.. Maybe it's a sign0

fuck. I have had many beers in that place. 2nd date with the wife was there (her call, 'take me somewhere for pitchers of beer').
that sucks. sums up this baseball season pretty well. now let's get new phils GM and manager0 -

not really, Cole will be pitching for one of the other contenders fairly soon.
Chooch has been unreal. who was the last Phillie to hit for this high of an average this close to the all-star break? I think Dykystra one year maybe? i don't know how catchers ever get hits with all the abuse they take and this guy is hitting .350. how great he has been is lost a little bit in how bad this team is.0
