I haven't had the Southern Tier, but everything from that brewery is awesome. So I'm sure they do a great job with it.

Cascazilla is sick, Flower Power was the #2 IPA in the country this year (I think it lost to Green Flash), their annual excelsiors are awesome, and if you're looking for a good holiday shandy mix 1 part nut brown with 1 part apricot wheat and it's like a chocolate covered orange. I'm going to be at Ithaca's Homecoming to present at career day and will come home with a ton of their stuff.

Southern Tier is so good, never had anything I didn't like from them either. I really like Krampus at Christmas, mostly because of the story they give behind the name I think.

that would not be good. would be better to keep playing like shit

even tho I seem to remember the yanks stumbling in and then winning it all a few years back, don't see how you can put a positive spin on getting swept by the nats :?

NLDS Games 1 are Sat, 10/1. The playoff schedule is on mlb.com somewhere. Use the google.

Yeah, schedule is out, but what I really wanna know is what time the Phils will be playing. I can't wait for game 1. I hope we get a 4-ish start time on that Saturday. That'd be perfect.

Crazy. It's just that in a 5 game series there are only 3 teams in the entire Majors - making the playoffs or not - that I want no part of and that's Detroit, San Fran, and St. Louis.

And I like Orr playing third. I gotta think that it's down between him and Martinez for the final spot on the roster. I'd take Orr in a heartbeat over Martinez. Dude will be primarily a pinch runner and has much better baserunning skills, and gives a tougher at-bat.

What's that you say? What does my playoff roster for the first round look like? I thought you'd never ask.

My 25th guy is Moss because there's no fucking reason to schlepp Herndon onto this roster for the sole reason that he was on the roster all year, or that he's another run. If they're getting to Herndon in a game then they're in trouble. I'm taking Moss because I would rather want Brown, but that looks like it's not happening. And I've not seen a damn thing out of Bowker since he's been here. Moss at least is more athletic, and has a better established Majors career(for what it's worth).
