Leaving my place in 5 to head over. All banged up. I hear it's fucking awesome from my chiropractor buddy who's working.

    HERE WE FUCKING GO!!!!!!!

Yo, the venue is fucking awesome, as someone who isn't real concerned with intimacy for this show. Fuxking awesome. Bathroom lines blow though. $11 for 24 oz beers, not bad, ran out of cold beer though.

Looks like they have a really cool Philly pearl jam t shirt. The gray and green one.

Cops fuckibg everywhere. FUCKING EVERYWHERE in center city. Be careful. True story, I saw and shook Ramsey's hand on my way in. An off duty cop that I was with talked a lot of shit and didn't like him. Either way, lots of cops. Good crowd. Great night. Am sure tomorrow will be better.

    Fuckibg awesome.

Such a hike to get anywhere though.

    FUCK YES

this season has taken years off my life. almost broke my remote a couple hours ago.

still like the fight they've shown though. 27-20 or whatever since the break and they're making september slightly interesting. just a shame they went into such a tailspin around 4th of july....

How the fuck did the Phillies lose this game and don't say Pappelbon

"I threw the pitch I wanted," Papelbon said. "I'm the pitcher. I throw the pitch I want."

The Phillies would have climbed to within four games of .500 and within seven games of the wild-card leaders with a win. Instead, they could only stare as Jones circled the bases.

Papelbon refused to overstate the impact of one loss.

"I wouldn't say it's a crushing loss," Papelbon said. "We've had a lot of losses this year. We've had a lot of chances to sweep teams."

papeldouche is better, but he reminds me of armando blownitez when he was a giant. dark, dark days.

That's an awful lot of hits.

I think he's gonna end up in that awkward position of being worthy of having his number retired, but not a Hall of Famer. But the team says the player must be a HoF'er to have his number retired. Don't know how rigorously they enforce that, since the retired Carlton & Schmidt numbers before they were inducted.

WTF was Tom McCarthy talking about after that blown umpire call. He kept harping on Howard's baserunning, which was totally irrelevant to the play. The inning was over when the out at 2B was recorded. McCarthy just likes to hear himself talk, non stop, THE WHOLE GAME.

someone told me over the weekend that mccarthy's contract is up after the year. no clue if that's true or not, but we can hope

I never liked papelbon but he has entered howard territory for me. they both just flat out suck
