when i was growing up we didn't get much nfl on tv. the super bowl was about it. lived in a very rural area with no cable. so we got a dish in the 80's and i had access to every game on sundays and found myself watching the eagles games more often than not. i became a fan of randall cunningham and especially the defense...eric allen, reggie white, mike pitts, clyde simmons, jerome brown. those guys were unreal. great defense, and the most exciting team to watch, in my opinion.
anyway, later we started getting cable in the area and mostly they would show northeastern teams. the patriots, jets, giants and eagles for the most part. of course i skipped the formers and watched the latter.
i've been a fan ever since. the only shitty thing is that i don't have the option to watch any game i want on sundays anymore, so there are a few during the season that i miss. still, fox up here shows mostly nfc east games.
