Stayed home from work yesterday due to being sick. I watched this movie along with a few shows while dosing off.
    Roxanne 1987 - IMDb

One summer we had car trouble over the Canada Day long weekend and were stuck in Nelson for 4 extra days. Did the Roxanne self-walking tour. Lame.

"Here's the grassy area where the fake tree stump was placed"  Really?

Got to see the real fire house though. So that was cool.

Nelson BC, where the hippies all walk around in sandals or bare feet, and drive in Land Rovers.

Marty is Marty 😀…. Saw Wolf of Wall St few weeks back, obviously all multiple rewatches… you pick up on so many parlor tricks he has up his sleeve , I can watch his films multiple times and have that sense of aww

Departed near perfect imo, Vera also gives the film this presence… her relationship between Damon & Leo intriguing , as is her occupation in regards to the intense build up of her & Leo

watched it on a flight to Germany, made a friend who saw I choose it and he said great great call… he choose it too

That scene when Damon's character calls DiCaprio's character's mobile from Sheen's dead character's phone frickin' sends me through the roof every time.

    No ticky
    no laundry

so many memorable lines/scenes/performances…. But yea that one in particular is wild, the chase thru the ally, Tiger bloods dad flying off the roof…. Jack being fucking Jack…. I can watch it right now for the umpteenth time and have that feeling, & comfortably numb being played sums it up well

i hope Marty has a few more features, saw he did some Saints doc for Foxnews

Same, sooo good. One of the first films I watched with Gary Oldman.. always blown away by his versatility. And RIP Tony Scott

  • Rewatched this for the umpteenth time. Love it. My friend had not seen it!  :o He’s over 30. That’s just not allowed. We watched Alien back in August (he hadn’t seen that one either).

My movie buddy watched it with us, but he had seen it plenty. He does not like scary movies and he declared Hudson his spirit animal (mid Hudson freak out). 😂
