Never seen anyone love his daughter more than M Night

I will acknowledge that this is ruthlessly funny.

Seen it many times of course. I feel like this movie is super underrated. I really love it.

...Although I have what a friend called an Apocalypse fetish, lol. Anything that even hints at the end of the world or just society as we know it, I am ALL over it. Haha. I admittedly love movies that are TERRIBLE if they have that kind of theme too. But Signs is legit good IMO.

35mm looks so much better than video

But Trap was Crap. The writing is like from a 12 year old making up how cops work.

Also, I just love this kind of movie more if they partbwe up with a real popstar. Set it in reality. LIKE JEAN CLAUDE DID IN 1995 IN SUDDEN DEATH WITH A REAL NHL TEAM
Fun fact about Trap. The FBI profiler is Haley Mills from the original The Parent Trap! That’s crazy. Guess she is really good at traps?

The profiler roaming around was one of the shitty "having a 12 year old write a script about how the police works" parts. This would have been so much better if it was 5% less lazy and had added 5% more realism instead. The feel of Spike Lee's INSIDE MAN but with the premise of a serial killer having an arena size trap being tighter and tighter... instead of this ludicrous winging

I almost thought there would be a twist involving that weird Profiler ghostly being. Some supernatural twist or something regarding her "gifts".

By the way - when are we rewatching Sudden Death...

    ... or wait, Snake Eyes!

Doesn‘t that sum up pretty much all M. Night screenplays though 😎 The dialogue and character actions to me never really ring true and generally seem to be just a necessary evil to (sort of) get from one plot point to the next. The premise is always totally fascinating, but never grounded/carried by the screenplay

That said, can‘t wait to see Trap 😄

Caught this morning … Blake Lively … what can I say 🥰

Went to keep someone company, actually enjoyed it… makes it hard to possibly have to bail on Fenway shows… Boston a great city, pains me to say as a Yankee fan 🤪
