Last new movie/movie I hadn't seen before was "Oppenheimer". Incredible. It will sweep the awards. They were all good in it, but RDJ was so awesome.

    Nolan is the G.O.A.T., IMO.
Seeing it in 70mm was an event…. Bought the 4k and watched a few weeks back… the story is remarkable, and was executed brilliantly! Rami Malek steals the show in the end, like an extra until he isn’t 🤣

What did you think of the film?
Finally made it to the movie date.

American Fiction was the best movie I've seen in a long time. I laughed a lot and it was touching as well. It was also poignant and very well done and I enjoyed the poetic justice movie script finale, too.

Hmm, it was definitely something. Good performances. Touches on how imperfect our world is and how men try to control women in nearly all parts of society.

Not sure how I felt about it. I thought it was over and then another 25 minutes happened. It’s definitely crazy at times. I’m not upset I saw it, but not my favorite.

Haha. The Peter Pan-iness murderous wonder he acts out kind of fits though.

Florence Pugh was great, considering she was opposite an emotionless lump of wood

I watched The Courier a few months back and thought it was pretty good. I enjoy the political/historical thriller genre, so this movie was right up my alley.
  • I think I saw the Peter Stormare one at a film festival
