Loved this last one and his others! This one was great. Had me thinking a lot about our culture’s love of spectacle no matter how bad things get or if people get hurt.

Also, huge Jaws vibes in the back half with the music, hunt for the ______ (no spoilers), and even a gruff expert character to mirror Robert Shawn’s excellent Captain Quinn!

I would have loved to seen it on a huge actual movie screen.

This is fantastic. Also, the book is wonderful. It’s written and illustrated by Brian Selznick, grandson of a famous movie producer from the 1930s.

Where The Crawdads Sing. Rotten Tomatoes says we shouldn’t have liked it, but we did.

  • Went to the theaters for the first time in a long time, saw "The Banshees of Inisherin".  Didn't know anything about the movie, was a great flick though!

We watched Spirited last night. Not bad---some funny parts, but seemed a bit long.
    I LOVE MUSIC.
