    I was well entertained by the whole movie. My friend and I watched it a bit drunk though. I'm not sure what the sober experience is like, lol.

    The most unsympathetic lead character in cinema. James Stewart; having no problems forcibly drugging his wife, killing her career as a singer, pushing her to the side "when the men are talking" and putting down the culture and customs of the Country they are visiting in all of his white westerness - is on the search for the most charmless boy in cinema (and man...the boy and his mother's obnoxious singing), while also trying to stop the plot to kill a political character that means nothing in the film or to me as a viewer. 

    Yuck. 

    Give me Dial M for Murder any day.

    We watched Ghostbusters Afterlife tonight (again, the first time my son had seen it).
    He enjoyed it more than the original because "the graphics are better and the Ant Man guy is in it".
    I guess that was the point though. There were enough nostalgic beats for my generation, and it was fresh enough for the next generation.
