I watched The Courier a few months back and thought it was pretty good. I enjoy the political/historical thriller genre, so this movie was right up my alley.
    It was really good film..

Last new movie/movie I hadn't seen before was "Oppenheimer". Incredible. It will sweep the awards. They were all good in it, but RDJ was so awesome.

    Nolan is the G.O.A.T., IMO.
Seeing it in 70mm was an event…. Bought the 4k and watched a few weeks back… the story is remarkable, and was executed brilliantly! Rami Malek steals the show in the end, like an extra until he isn’t 🤣

Absolutely. Saw it in NYC, had the exact middle seat in the top row of the theater, it was unreal. Got the 4K, haven't watched it yet.

Yeah, so many great actors in it. Leave it to Mr. Robot to drop the hammer lol.

Oh yeah! Reading Clive barker's 'The Thief of Always' for the second time. A kids book, simply horrifying imo.

Nice! Haven’t ready any Barker in awhile, but yeah, scary stuff! Last I read was The Great and Secret Show and Everville.

Not good. But if you loooove the first one, I guess an argument for would be that you get more of the same.

I actually never saw it, felt the need to give it a watch. It’s fine. Not as bad as people said back in the day.

It was mostly bland. And felt cut-cornery like DTV films often do. But I watched it because I wanted to see one of Nicholas Cages direct-to-video "paying of the debts" film. And this was the first that showed up. hehe.
