How did people rate Elvis!? Haven’t seen it yet. Going to watch it whilst on school Easter break.
My mom was an Elvis fan growing up. She loved it. My son loved it and turned into a bit of an Elvis fan. It’s good, like above, solid B to B+. It gets started and rarely slows down.
Watched it tonight. Really solid. 2.5hours went be quickly. Not the biggest Elvis fan tbh. What a story! Didn’t realise he was a bit of a punk. Sad how it all panned out. Certainly a B+ from me. 8/10. Great flick!

Nice! My son has been listening to the Elvis CBS special that was featured in the movie. It’s on Apple Music. Some good performances on there.

Nice! So many great quotes in this movie, but that’s a great one.

Yeah, it focuses on the son of Joaquin’s character. The little kid from the first one. Denzel Washington might be in it.

This sounds much better than the rumor floating around earlier of ressurecting Crowe’s character.

Have not seen it. And don’t dare to watch the american. It seemes rough to watch by the blurb about it on whatever streaming service it was on. Seemed disturbing.

There’s definitely about 3 or 4 minutes that are a bit disturbing, but nothing graphic. Just the insinuation something might happen. Mostly the movie is a chase through the wilderness.

I’ll be curious about the new Evil Dead! Going to see it next week. Not sure I can handle that cheese grater scene from the trailer though. Oof!

On the flight home from London to Sydney:

I’ve seen In Bruges and The Martian dozens of times, and will never get tired of either of them.

The others are new to me. I enjoyed Amsterdam and Living, but I didn’t think See How They Run was as good.

Hoping he meant in how much he enjoys it?
Gotta believe and Evil Dead film (even if Sam and Bruce are only EPing it) has to be better than a movie about the Mario Bros
Don't get me wrong, I liked the game as a child.  Even enjoy playing with my child, at times....but that is for kids.  Evil dead is badass book of the dead, love, sin, salvation, and humor!  (Will the Olds Delta 88 make an appearance?)

I didn't care for it too much. Tom Hanks doesn't pull off the "old man with an accent" role very well at all IMO. And generally, the movie and is pretty average, but watchable. I give it a C+.

Not usually hyped for a found footage movie, but this was bananas. Same director as the upcoming Stephen King movie, The Boogeyman.

Only an hour and twenty minutes, was worried it would be a Blair Witch Project, where literally nothing happens, but definitely not the case!
