Venom - really liked it, but with some minor changes, it could have been awesome.

    The Road (2009)

Very dark scenery for this depressing, but good movie. Well acted and glad I finally got around to watching it

    Terrifier.......again.
Something sinisterly fantastic about this movie. And one of the scariest clowns you will ever see in horror.

I agree the clown is great - best part of the movie by far. I also liked how they did the gore. Kind of an homage to B or retro gore effects, while still making the effects really good. However, I thought the movie was far too short on story.

All of the Purge movies are ridiculous... I like them anyway. ;) (side note: The Amazon Prime Purge series isn't half bad. Not the greatest, but it's entertaining me, and I'll definitely keep watching the season).

True but this one was completely over the top. Drug gangs and apartment dwellers ousting trained mercaneries in urban combat. Easily the worst in the franchise.

I thought that was beginning in November - I haven't seen any of the Purge movies - not my thing - but I promised my son I'd watch the limited series with him. An attempt at bonding with his taste in entertainment. Thanks for letting me know it started - I should keep better track of my Prime benefits.

Yeah, it's halfway through now - I think the 6th episode out of 10 is this week? ... I actually wish I'd just waited until the whole thing was released to I could binge at my leisure. I'm now in waiting mode, and modern life has made me too impatient for that shit, lol.

    Silver Bullet(1986)
Underrated Steven King movie and one of the better werewolf movies.
Corey Haim and Gary Busey are great in this. Features a young Terry O' Quinn. Has aged a little but still stands up

And Big Ed Hurley as Reverend Werewolf!

Oh, and I think Anne of Green Gables is the sister/narrator.

    A Star Is Born

Very good movie. While my expectations weren't low, I didn't expect to like it as much as I did.
(Fucking depressing though - don't see it before you plan to go out and have fun afterwards, lol).

    First Man

Great film.  Visual effects and cinematography were outstanding (should win an oscar for at least one of them). The woman who played Neil's wife was also great (should be at least nominated for best actress). Damien Chazelle might win an oscar for best director.  Best picture?  it's up there but don't think it will win.

Also saw The Rocky Horror Picture show in a theater with a live cast.  That's always fun.

I'm pretty sure that's the only thing i've seen her in. Is the Crown a tv show?  Doesn't ring a bell as a movie.

    Adrift - pretty solid film

Skyscraper - Harmless fun, but not worth watching again. Some absolutely ridiculous stunts, but expected that

Like Father, Netflix. Pretty good. Haven't seen Kelsey Grammer in anything lately.
