  • just came across a doc on Netflix called Icarus. Never heard of it. Sounded interesting. Watched it. Had no idea it had anything to do with Russia. I suppose everything Russia is trending these days.

    just....bloody.....ridiculous.
Now you have to watch the sequel.
Final/climactic act was filmed in my town.
there's a sequel? I can't imagine wanting to sit through that.
Hmm, I really enjoyed the two Equalizers
    I like Denzel

Couldn't get through one John Wick though
I have good memories of watching The Equalizer tv show (with Edward Woodward) when I was a kid and probably too young to watch it. I’ve never checked the movies out as they felt like another unnecessary remake.

I watched that last year - it was so good! I couldn't believe how crazy that story is!

I really like it. I've seen it a few times now.
The guy playing the villain isn't great, but Charlize kicks all sorts of ass.

The Lady Vanishes, one of Hitchcock’s earlier British movies. Really really good. A good bit of his early work is on HBO max right now. Also watched The Man Who Knew Too Much this week. The 1930s version. He remade it in America in the 1950s with Jimmy Stewart in the lead. The 30s version was incredible for its time!

thinking about The Batman this weekend.
    Not a perfect film.

But well worth it for the visual feast. Do it.

My wife had never seen it and it’s one of my favourite movies. Complete thrill ride.

Amazing movie. Love when intelligent writers/people are goofy.

Whether its this, Letterman or Arrested Development.

    Masterpiece of a movie.

Want to watch through the whole series some day.

The series has some absolute gems of dialogue in it.

I tried a few years back. I believe the first episode is the Joker escaping from prison using a springbroard...

Don't know why I gave up on it after 2-3 episodes.

Did the same with the Animeated show a bunch of years ago.

But the batman tv-series and Twilight Zone I wanna watch in full. Some day.

few from the weekend while visiting a friend

Against the Ice (2022)- Not too bad of a survival film based on the true story of two Danish explorers trying to recover documents from a previous expedition in Greenland .
    Against the Icejpeg

Project Gemini (2022)- A Russian film trying too hard to be an American film. The actors were all Russian trying to speak English but it seemed like it was dubbed. It was like Aliens meets Predator kinda but in a bad way.
    Project Gemini Blu-ray 2022 - Best Buy
The Mist (2007). I still like this movie a lot.
