    I went and saw Arrival. Heard a bunch of stuff about it being a great sci-fi movie--the best alien contact movie, etc..

    After about an hour and a half i thought i had been Gravity'd--all built up and then ultimately--not bad, but eh..."B," "B-" territory.

    The last act was pretty awesome though. Gave me goosebumps.

    I liked it, my biggest complaint was the middle, lot of repetitive scenes

    Hacksaw Ridge. Decent war movie. One of the bloodier/gory/violent war scenes i've seen in a while

    Kung Fu Panda 3. Missed it in the theaters caught it last night on netflix. If you liked the first two this one is also good.

    Dazed and Confused. saw this right after kung fu panda also on netflix. I had only seen parts of it before never the whole thing image. "Dope" movie.

    Saw that on Saturday and I agree. It will get cult status when it comes on Showtime in a year since they're the home for the new STX studio.

    Candy was a comedy childhood hero of mine. Still miss him. I was perplexed why it was R when I was a kid. When I saw it 13 years after it came out I know definitively now because of one FUCKING scene. :lol:
