Car Wash
This movie just screams 70s in every department in the best way possible. Can't go wrong with cameos from Pryor and Carlin in their prime.0 -

It's pretty entertaining. With all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Be careful. Strive to be happy. ~ Desiderata0 -
Theatre: Mad Max, which I really liked,
TV: The Babadook, which was terrible. If you like watching a dog get killed and a mom trying to kill her son, check it out.I've got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

Thanks for the heads up about Babadook. Will take it out of the Netflix queue."The stars are all connected to the brain."0 -
Interstellar.
I really enjoyed it a lot! Super duper good. Might even watch it again before the rental expires. It's 2h 45m long or so, yet I still felt like if it had been an hour longer in would have been happy, just because I was so into it.Post edited by PJ_Soul onWith all its sham, drudgery, and broken dreams, it is still a beautiful world. Pound of Flesh. Not Van Damme's best, nor his worst. Very reminiscent of the plot to Crank. Highlight of the film was when he beats some thugs senseless with a bible0

Blackhat. Thor's accent was surprisingly good. The movie was unsurprisingly terrible. Not so terrible it was funny, nor terrible enough to stop watching before it ended, but terrible.
Lost River. I'd been warned that this movie was bad. "A mess" I think is what the reviews said. I don't agree with that, I think for the type of film it was, it wasn't bad. But I'm emotionally fucking traumatized by a scene i wasn't expecting, involving the murder of a pet. I've tried to forget it but I've been having flashbacks and nightmares for 4 days now. The rest of the movie was entertaining, not as boring as Mr Gosling's recent films.NYC 06/24/08-Auckland 11/27/09-Chch 11/29/09-Newark 05/18/10-Atlanta 09/22/12-Chicago 07/19/13-Brooklyn 10/18/13 & 10/19/13-Hartford 10/25/13-Baltimore 10/27/13-Auckland 1/17/14-GC 1/19/14-Melbourne 1/24/14-Sydney 1/26/14-Amsterdam 6/16/14 & 6/17/14-Milan 6/20/14-Berlin 6/26/14-Leeds 7/8/14-Milton Keynes 7/11/14-St. Louis 10/3/14-NYC 9/26/15
