Raiders of the lost ark. First time I've seen it.

First time?! :open_mouth: Probably the best action/adventure movie of all time.
    Ident42, did you love it??
It was the first movie I ever saw in a theatre (I was only 5, but my parents didn't believe in censorship, lol), and I have been a massive Indiana Jones fan ever since, and Raiders is the best of the best. I LOVE that movie .... but holy christ, that 4th one is just awful, lol.

It was pretty good, but really it just made me want to try hiking the Pacific Crest Trail.... or at least want to fantasize about hiking it, lol. 4 months of hiking is a little (a LOT) much.

I saw that movie a couple months ago--loved it. I thought she went hiking right after her mom died but there must have been a few years in there between. I know there were lots of other factors involved too--divorce, drugs, etc....Hiking for that long would def. be a great way to clear your head.

    Working Girl

Another classic movie from the late Mike Nichols but HOLY SHEIT THIS MOVIE IS DATED! This has to be the definitive late 80s movie right down to the shoulder pad female wardrobe and Joisey hairdos of Melanie Griffith and Joan Cusack.

Kevin Spacey is hilarious in an early small role as a porn loving cokehead.

I mean I didn't watch the whole thing. A few parts confused me. And the TV is so old it doesn't have captions so I missed a bunch of dialogue. I really didn't like the shit with that monkey. Monkeys ain't snitches, yo! And I don't like animal deaths in movies. Even if the little bastard deserved it.

Identity theft - that is very funny. I have a niece that is just like Melissa McCarthy in size and fun. When I watch this movie I see her every time mellssa says something. It's good to see bigger people on screen, most of them are very funny in real life and it's great to see them making good money doing what they do best no matter what size they are.

That movie was just okay. Tammy really sucked, though, regardless of weight of female lead.

    Black Mass last night

It's good, it's no goodfellas, casino, Donnie Branco good but What's not to like about these movies.... Crazy how law enforcement in this country has misjudged situations and actually made things worse

Makes you wonder what other fucked up things have gone on over the years with organized crime

    Capone
    Gotti etc

As good as Johnny was Joel Edgerton was even better IMO..... Dudes got serious acting chops

Movies about Boston tend to be fun too.... Love the accents. Reminds me of friends I have up there

    Tammi...

Mr. RK is notorious for starting to watch a movie and no matter how terrible it is, he will watch to the end, I can beg and plead to change the channel, nope, gotta watch to the end. :anguished:

OMG my prince does that too. Can't believe some of the stuff he'll sit through.
