if you like widescreen and the black bars dont bother you, watch wide screen.
if they do bother you, buy full screen..
either way, read the box before you buy it, and you surely wont waste everyones time with your rants.
having said that...
I am in the widescreen camp...
and one word can perfectly sum up why pan and scan/fullscreen is awful.. and that word is... Multiplicity. Watch it folks, and you'll understand the major advantage of widescreen.

Either way, yea, it was my goof. I just assumed (never assume) that companies didn't even make fullscreen DVDs anymore. And in the heat of the holiday rush, I just grabbed it and bailed.
