I'm a big fan (from the start through the black album at least) and I've got their Cunning Stunts dvd....I cringe every time James does the whole "fuck no James" and all that shit with the crowd....seems quite corny coming from a band that is supposed to be one of the most badass ever

love both bands, was a Metallica fan first, then met my best friend who loves PJ. He got me more into PJ and I'd like to think I got him more into Metallica. We've seen PJ 7 times together and Metallica twice. We've been debating on going or not. He definitely would go but I on the other hand am thinking of saving up as much money for my wedding in September. It would be a cool road trip though, about a 14-hour drive from Toronto, for the both of us. he's going to be my best man for the wedding. and my fiancee is actually somewhat pushing me to go too...will have to think about it a lot more.

I think it's pretty ridiculous to not go to a festival because you don't like one band or their fans. Your acting like Metallica will headline every night and there will be 80,000 of their fans there.
my initial grievance (pun intended) with this lineup is acts like metallica nad kanye taking up those big spots. but whatever. what im going to do about it now that ive finished venting, is not go. works pretty well.
