God I miss the days where I would wake up and immediately call this number 310-457-9701 (Malibu Surf Report Recording). If it was good, I was OUT THERE!!
Whoa, chill bro... you know you can't raise your voice like that when the lion's here.

you can get a surf report for your area text to you every morning.

I get the report for socal and for central...since I am "always awake anyway"

That's what I thought. But trust me, a good school and you'll be standing up by the end of your first session. :)

I learned with these guys but the same principles are applied with a lot of schools now and with the same results. Even the most unco person has fun and actually learns the basics, and can stand up. :)

Most people’s response is that it looks way too hard, but Go Ride a Wave makes it easy and accessible to everyone. Lessons are run mostly at waist deep water, using specially designed soft foam boards and over 80% of participants get to stand up (even if only for a short time) in their first lesson.

i am truly thrilled for you :)
    that's so cool.

my main problem is i live about 500 miles from the nearest beach.

i'd love to try sometime....i'm sure i'd make a complete fool of myself,
    but i'll try anything once.
    Nice shirt.

Yeah, I don't live that close to the beach either, but it's worth it if you ever get a chance to give it a go. :)

I'm not expecting to wake and be able to shred like Kelly Slater anytime soon ;) , and I spent more than my fair share of time getting dumped and falling off and looking like a complete idiot but gee, when you catch a wave and you manage to stand up on the board it's THE BEST FEELING! :)

It is much harder on a normal board than the ones they use at surf school. I bought myself a mini mal, which is pretty stable, but I have had quite a few hits to the head from it with all my rolling around being dumped :o , but catching a few more than makes up for it. Truly exhausting stuff, but you sure do go home happy. :)

what i'm wondering about is this: why is there a button specifically given to women about women, it shoud be taken off the web site, to keep things equal ;)

if you two are guys, then you must realise that i'm on your side.

but, i don't mind i guess some men like having special section designed for women on that web site, just as much as you enjoy paying money to get into a bar, whilst ladies don't have to pay a dime ;) oh, well, suit yourself

    * edit * sorry, it sounds like i'm taking it too seriously, but i'm not. please go back to talking about surfing :)
