Baby, You Wouldn't Last a Minute on The Creek......

Together we will float like angels.........

In the moment that you left the room, the album started skipping, goodbye to beauty shared with the ones that you love.........

an amazing, touching movie about the power of music and love, if everyone arou nd here thinks eddie is a shoo-in for best song at the oscars they're in for a surprise, as much as i love the into the wild soundtrack, i think a song from this movie will win it, seriously see it !!! everyone!!!

    http://imdb.com/title/tt0907657/

also i just saw Sweeney Todd and it was BLOODY brilliant

  • I saw once just the other day. They are a couple in real life (and musicians) and they both tour together.

Touching love story. Definitely a feel good movie.

It had some weaknesses and was stretching at times, but hey...live love...it was real. It is real.

  • really ?? usually when my freinds hype up a movie im like ok so it must be terrible so i waited until this came out on dvd after everyone was hyping it and i loved it, i laughed so hard i felt like i was in 8th grade again!!!!

Parts of Superbad were really really funny. however if has some really stupid parts that I had to give up and fast forward. Especially the cops scenes past the liquor store...omg....borderline painful... Actually the whole getting alcohol and getting to the party, cops thing was painful to endure and way too long.
    Not enough partying.

Edit the move "Hot Rod" is way funnier btw... I'm watching it now and laughing pretty hard.

  • thats the whole point, you're supposed to feel just disgusted after watching it, similar to what the coen bros did in Fargo and No Country.

Definitely not a recommended movie for wanting to feel good or lift spirits. Crime sucks...point proven. Marisa Tomei however was looking absolutely fantastic at a very sexy 43 yrs of age. She's just so damn cute and sexy, inside and out. She was the only oasis to the never ending pain and misery dished out in that flick.

    Anyone mention 'Zeitgeist'?

I still need to see 'No Country for Old Men', and 'Into The Wild'.
Anyone have a torrent for either of these films?

Just saw Rescue Dawn on DVD.

I was totally surprised at how good it turned to out be. Maybe this movie was just released at the wrong time, because I cannot understand why it didn't do well in theaters. One of the best POW dramas I've ever seen.

Yeah that one wasn't too bad. Based on a true story with some inaccuracies, but a decent movie.
DTS HD audio track was very good too ;)

Just my opinion, but I thought that Bale was high as hell throughout the entire movie. Very odd acting performance.

All right, here is my first stab at the best movies of 2007. I reserve the right to change my mind after further consideration:

The Hammer (Very funny and thoughtful movie from Adam Carolla)

    No Country for Old Men

The Orphanage (From the director of Pan’s Labyrinth)

Mr. Brooks (Kevin Costner did an amazing job in this. Very underrated)

    Grindhouse: Planet Terror
  • Into the Wild
    No Country for Old Men
    There Will Be Blood
    Zodiac
    Knocked Up

Yeah I thought his acting was weird too. It seemed like he was trying to portray a naive, newbie pilot, which is what Dieter Dengler essentially was at that time.
