Saw quite a few bad movies this year, one of the worst years for movies that I can remember
    Alpine Valley 2000
    Summerfest 2006

I was sorely, sorely, sorely disappointed in No Country for Old Men. Thought it was rather slow, with a ridiculous ending. It's too bad too, because I love a lot of the Coen Brothers' work.

    Waitress? You can't be serious....yikes..

Across The Universe was original, innovative, ground breaking....THE best movie of the year, in my meager opinion.

I watch a lot of movies too. Minored in film, used to work in a theater when was younger........still thought it sucked. To each their own.

yeah exactly to each their own , im a film student currently so when i watch a movie i usually tear it apart and its very rare that movie honestly floors me, but this year no country and once floored me , i know what mean about the end of no country it had theat one scence with the old guy telling tommy lee the story, almost killed the whole movie it was sooo pointless ....

there were parts of no country for old men that i liked and parts i didn't. I liked the killer's characters, didn't like the ending, caused the movie to go on too long, liked the cimenatography, didn't think much of tommy lee jones in it, thought he kind of mailed it in here.

other movies that I saw that were good were "Bourne Ultimatum, Simpsons Movie, Reign Over Me. I saw Knocked Up also and it was funny in spurts, and a little too drawn out.
