Ten Super Deluxe Presale is Bullshit!

Honestly, I bought one. I am just as excited as everyone else about it, but the timing of this is ridiculous. I mean, this item arrives in the PJ.com Store within hours of the OFFICIAL declaration of our Country being in a "recession". WTF? Did PJ not make enough money during their touring projects this year? It is not shipping until the end of MARCH! that is about 1/3 of a year from now...Was it really necessary to slug another buck forty out of all of us loyal fans at this time of year??? I hope all of you that managed to come up with this $140, can manage to donate 10% of that sum to someone in need at this time of the year.

Sorry for my rant, I am getting tired of hearing bad news from friends and family about jobs, health, etc. It has been a shitty couple of weeks (though I received a promotion personally-hooray), and as much as I LOVE all things PJ, I am seeing stress all around me, and I am just not "HAPPY" about this purchase at the moment. I would have rather helped out a friend with that money.

    I also do not understand why there was such a rush to offer a presale on this item considering that it won't be released for 3 months. Business is business, I guess. I'm sure many people jumped on the presale because they didn't want to miss out on the item, but I think it could have waited until late-January in my opinion.

    That' why I have a fund put away for things like this and concert tickets. That way when the time comes I don't have to scrape together money to pay for it.

    I have a PJ fund as well, usually save money throughout the year in case they drop new merch or announce a surprise show somewhere I have to fly to.

Why don't all you douche bags with a stupid comment spend a half hour helping the Red Cross with your local Homeless Shelter, it is a pretty sad thing this presale couldnt wait a month considering the status of the economy and time of year. This is an item that 90% of the buyers are buying for themselves, not as a gift for others...

    I hope so...I ordered mine the same day the pre-sale started only because I am hoping to get an autographed one...otherwise I would have waited...

    the economy is shitty and everyone knows that buying this is each individual's choice, and if they can't afford it then they shouldn't scrape from here and there to get it and even if they do it's not your business, worry about your own money.
    What's the difference in between doing the pre-sale now or on January? The economy is going be better next month? I don't think so.
    The pre-sale is still going on and whoever wants to wait until after Xmas they can do so, those who don't want to wait then it's their choice, your argument that the economy is bad for many people and 10C shouldn't have released this now makes no sense!!!
    I guess businesses shouldn't release any products until everyone in every country is doing great financially then....GEESH!

    and I'm sure the 10C will gladly refund your money and cancel your order, that way you can help your family and friends and give them the money you spent on this Box Set, problem solved.
    But are you really going to cancel the order so that you can use your money to help a friend like you said you would have preffered? I don't believe it.
