Yup that's what made them the better team.
And I'm a Packer fan.0 -

You're probably one of the only Pats fans that I know that would say that. Most are blind to that fact and they think the head of MENSA Billy Boy hatched the game plan of the century.
Then again it might have been since the century is less than 10 years old and that would fit in with the OP. LOLI'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

LongRd. wrote:Well, I'm not gonna flush the Pats' '07-'08 season down the strain because of one bad game...same thing can be said for Rams fans, their team pretty much shattered all record books in '01, they still own the title to the Greatest Show on Turf, don't they? So the Pats own the 16-0 regular season record, should still be praised, at least I do, I don't know about others.
Most of the people that are Pats fans call it a fluke that the Giants beat them but will fail to recognize that it was also a fluke that the Pats cashed it in that year.
That drives me up a wall. I think the whole point is that the people around here have developed this warped sense of entitlement as far as sports are concerned. For me, even though I live here, I see what people are talking about because even though I love the Sox I hate the Pats with every last ounce of my soul.
After the Pats lost you couldn't wipe the smile off my face. Now everyone knows why the old guys from the Dolphins team pop the champagne corks. It;s almost impossible to go undefeated.I'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

I think I just hate the attitude. It's the "my shit doesn't stink" attitude. I have problems with Billy Boy and his attitude. I really enjoy his stance on Matt Walsh that he couldn't pick him out of a line up. The control freak that he is, that's a joke. The whole thing about SpyGate. Not about breaking the rules, about how he played dumb as he mis-interpreted the rules. What a bunch of crap
I already know what'll happen if something comes out in the next few weeks with Walsh. He'll say he never saw any video tape, blah, blah, blah. All the myopians around here will drink from the Kool Aid and agree.
Yes, everyone does but you were the ones who got caught because of your arrogance and your pettiness with Eric Mangini.
I have no problem with the owner. A former fan and season ticket holder that buys his favorite team. I think that's every fans dream.I'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

So what did you want Bill to do? Come out and go Yup! I cheated! BAHAHAHAHAHA! No one would ever do that.
This had nothing to do with Mangini except for Mangini being a rat.
So who's your team? I find this fascinating by the way."I don't believe in PJ fans but I believe there is something, not too sure what." - Thoughts_Arrive0 -

New England Patriots still the better team!!! just had one bad minute in the 4th quarter!

I think it had a little more to do than with Mangini being a rat. I believe Billy B didn't want him to go to the Jets. There's a little more to that story than most people realize.
My favorite team was also on the brink of history last NFL season but for all the wrong reasons. No one can accuse me of being a fair weather because they haven't won shit in more than 30 years.I'll ride the wave where it takes me.0 -

Super, thanks for asking! My Giants won the greatest superbowl of all time against the greatest offense of all time in dominating fashion, the Red Sox won the WS via sweep for the second time, and the Celtics are probably going to win the championship
You bet your ass the Patriots were the better team, all year long. They set tons of records and dominated everyone.
But the Giants were the better team when it mattered most. Ill take that any day of the week.
Sore losers.
18-1 aint bad, but 14-6 is fucking fantastic.
For those who dont remember..
Giants 17

2007 - Patriots 18-1 (superbowl loss to an inferior team with much more heart)
2006 - Dallas Maverics 67 wins. Lose first round
2001- Seattle Mariners - 116 wins. lose first round.
Fucking hilarious! New England Patriots, THAT is the neighborhood you live in. Epic playoff disasters with so much on the line. Mercury Morris and the Dolphins arent even in your country, bitches.
