The crowd was actually kind of better last regular season as most games where sold out and was the true die hards - hell when your team stinks of course it changes you pespecitve when watching them play. Definately more bandwagon fans at the garden this year - but isn't that the case everywhere when a team changes its fortune? Playoff game Sunday was intense at the garden as I'm at nearly all of them - wonder if there will be more Celtics fans then Hawks fans at Game 3? Atlanta is a piss poor sports town - can't even sell out playoff games - which is true every time the Braves are in the playoffs as well.
it especially changed in Boston once the Red Sox became good around 2003. Hell they even created a name for the bandwagon!
too bad Shebron is better than anyone on the Celtics will ever be and SheBron averages over 30 a night vs the all mighty C's
LeBron's great but has he made his teammates better from the defensive end?
then again, alot of the Cavs players are scrubs other than LBJ, the rest are wounded vets like Big Ben and Z...
K.G. just won the defensive player of the year and his contribution showed it.

True statement (for now) he led them the Finals before getting swept by the Spurs. KG and Wolves went into the Western championship only once.
Things will change this June
KG could win the next 5 championships and he still won't be better than Lebron. Lebron is a one man show and still manages. KG was a one man show for the last couple of years and how many trips to the playoffs did the TWolves make?

Yeah we all know, LeBron's the new Magic/Jordon but he still needs rings.
KG played in the West and the Wolves had one good playoffs year and the rest were terrible. Now he's in Boston and has turned this defensive-less team into one of the best D teams in the league. He single handedly did that.
Ray Allen and Pierce are great scorers but have always failed in the playoffs so even if all the BIG threes were great offensively, they'll still need to prove the Dfensive end and that's what KG did. He's not even averaging 20ppg this season because he was focus on making Boston a great defensive team.
I like how the Bruins win 3 playoff games and the Celts have their first decent season in 20 years and all of a sudden MA is the sports nucleus of the world...
if you were from another planet and fell in love with sports. What city would you see as the most well rounded and successful right now?
There is only one answer, and it's Boston. No one is having more fun with better teams than us.
Maybe based on records.....but when the aliens met the Boston fans....they would start rooting for another city.
All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a thousand enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.
I'm not including New York & Cali cause they have way too many teams.
Boston Red Sox - 2004, 2007 World Champions and AL East champs.
Boston Bruins - Made Playoffs and almost pulled up an incredible upset
Boston Celtics - enough said
New England Patriots - 2007-08 AFC Champs, Perfect Season
New England Revolution - Made Championship third year in a row.
hands down dominant
Is this thread a joke?
Its Perfect REGULAR season for the Pats. "Perfect Season" implies you won it all, which they didn't.
The Celtics? They have been irrelevant for the past 20 years now they have Garnett and thats somehow supposed to be better than Shaq/Kobe Lakers or Spurs of this century?
Yes the Red Sox have won more championships this century than any other team. How many did they win in the 80 years prior to 2000?
Pro Soccer? Are you serious? No one cares.
The Bruins?? Hold the phones! They almost pulled an incredible upset?! Holy Shit! Its parade time!

Yep and he is almost ready to bolt Cleveland - though who can blame him. Enjoy the playoffs and the next 2 seasons.

that's what people said about Detroit last year. Lebron can go out and hang 48 on the Celtics just as easy as his did against the Pistons last year
Things will change this June

And the first post is junk, because barely making the playoffs hardly constitutes "domination".
