You can learn if you spend long enough learning and observing its behaviour under different conditions. He's not gonna bark or wag his tail, no, but all animals have ways in which we can read changes in mood.'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

Thats what I mean. Are snakes like that?A human being that was given to fly.

Maybe not happy, but normal, is when it glides and has its body stretched out. A lot of tongue flickering shows it is curious, therefore not scared. Also, I can tell it is happy when he keeps moving around his tank when I put him back in it. Being angry or scared would cause him to hide.severed hand thirteen2006: Gorge 7/23 2008: Hartford 6/27 Beacon 7/1 2009: Spectrum 10/30-31

I absolutely love snakes, but can't have one because I can't go through with the feeding process. I love rats and mice, too. I'll just live vicariously through the rest of you ... except when you feed them.0

They can be, yes.. Corn snakes like the one being talked about are very sensitive to touch and can appear 'affectionate'.
I once held a baby python which was only just longer than my hand. It would lick my finger and wrap itself gently around my fingers.
Then again it might've just been trying to kill me.'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'

SVRDhand13 wrote:That part is actually cool to watch. I buy mine frozen because I don't want to deal with caring for them when they are alive. I don't get satisfaction out of a living thing dying (unlike acoustic guy) but I do realize some things die so others can live and think the snake's eating/ digestion process is unbelievable.
I've seen it enough times ... yeah the complete jaw dislocation is rad and all, but it's still not something I'd like to be involved in. In the wild, it happens naturally ... in my home, I'm basically becoming nature, and, uhhhh, I'm not really one with it.
It's hard enough for me to feed my dog his kibble, knowing what's in there. There is a vegetarian food for elder dogs or dogs with damaged/weak kidneys who require a protein-light diet, but his teeth are worse than his kidneys, so he's on the Dental Formula (referring to MediCal products).0 -

Not meaning to make assumptions but is this about the animals in captivity debate?'We're learning songs for baby Jesus' birthday. His mum and dad were Merry and Joseph. He had a bed made of clay and the three kings bought him Gold, Frankenstein and Merv as presents.'
