I can't believe I didn't see this thread until now!

I'm a HUGE Dodgers fan. Been rooting for them since Gibby's homer in 1988 (when I was 9 years old).

Our magic number is 10 with, what, 13 games to go? The way the D'Backs have been playing, and the way WE have been playing, and the fact that the only teams we have left on the schedule are the Pirates, Giants, and Padres...yeah, I'd say the Playoffs are almost a lock.

I just hope I can get playoff tickets this year! I had tickets for game 4 against the Mets a couple years ago, but then we got swept so that didn't exactly work out...

there are presales this week. The one that ends at 5pm today is for season account holders.

Just gotta keep winning like they are. The D-backs should win again tonight with Webb going. But we have Billingsley, I think. The Pirates seem to be getting ready for golf season.

Yeah we do have Billingsly. Hopefully, we can keep up this hot hitting.

They can redeem themselves by wining today. Game just started. I am surprised to see Manny in the lineup. I thought they would rest him. But I guess Nomar hurting himself made that impossible?

Nice. Man, if they make the playoffs, it's going to be tough not to re-sign Manny and break out that checkbook.

Oh man. Curt Schilling is at it again. First, he acts like a little bitch and talks about Kobe Bryant. Now, he is taking on Manny Ramirez. What a little c*nt. He waits for Manny to leave, kick ass in LA, and THEN he speaks up. This guy needs to stand down. Man, he is easy to hate.

Tell us how you really feel. LOL.

I did kind of figure Manny would kill it out in LA. He's playing for a new contract and he needs to be on his best behavior.

The deal worked out well for both teams. You guys got what you needed in a big bat for that line-up and the Sox got rid of a guy they just had to get rid of.

I do agree with you though. While I'll always respect Schilling for what he's done for the Sox he can be an enormous ass when he opens up his cake hole, well, when he's not stuffing his face that is.
