After looking just about done 2 weeks ago, this homestand is just what we needed. Hopefully they can keep it up for the next few weeks. We need to beat up the padres again this week.

    Go Dodgers!!!!
Take time to see the sky,
    Find shapes in the clouds.
Hear the murmur of the wind
    and touch the cool water.
    Walk softly,
    we are intruders,
    tolerated briefly
    In an infinite universe.

    Yay for SCULLY in '09!!!

Funny note---at the game Friday, one of the Dodgers has a LedZep song when they come out (maybe Ethier) and I forgot the name so asked my husband and he said Immigrant Song and the hispanic guy next to him looked at him funny when he said Immigrant!! I thought it was kinda funny!! :D

Guess who faces Lincecum tonight? The D-Backs.

And we have Maddux going against the Padres tonight, which is good. He is comfortable at Petco, and knows that lineup backwards and forwards. Torre is smart for shifting the rotation.

I can't believe I didn't see this thread until now!

I'm a HUGE Dodgers fan. Been rooting for them since Gibby's homer in 1988 (when I was 9 years old).

Our magic number is 10 with, what, 13 games to go? The way the D'Backs have been playing, and the way WE have been playing, and the fact that the only teams we have left on the schedule are the Pirates, Giants, and Padres...yeah, I'd say the Playoffs are almost a lock.

I just hope I can get playoff tickets this year! I had tickets for game 4 against the Mets a couple years ago, but then we got swept so that didn't exactly work out...

Yeah it could all turn around really quick. And we don't have the wild card to fall back on.
