  • Go to a store that carries good beer and get a Franziskaner Weissbier. Best beer I have ever had so far. If you dont like that then just stick to the cheap stuff ;)

Others I recommend: Blue Moon, Newcastle, Shiner Bock, Guinness, Hoegaarden

"Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy"-Ben Franklin

OMG, Franzikaner is my absolute favorite! I like the taste of it better than most foods. Sometimes I drink it for dinner. AND my local grocery store now carries it- super happy day for me!
    Excess in moderation.

I love beer! There is an entire shelf in my fridge devoted to different kinds, depending on what mood we're in when we got to the fridge to grab one. You'd think we were two alcoholics, but we just love cracking a beer! Yum.

Not much more I love than a good beer. Sadly, I can't drink as much with medication I take now. Sucks. But I'll still indulge in the occasional Guinness (the old standby), New Castle, St. Peter's Porter, belgian wheat, and even a Corona with lime (never without).
One suggestion: Guinness and chocolate. Awesome combo.

As my dad tells me, "You'd drink Guinness out of a pig's arse". I wouldn't do this if I didn't like the taste. Of the Guinness, that is.

I've always loved the taste of beer. It was actually wine that I had to develop a taste for, which I certainly have! Not a fan of American light beers though, why bother, it tastes like bad water to me. I stick with microbrews mostly. After visiting Germany, as others have said, I am convinced they don't make a bad beer. Sure missed it when we got home. :)

I was just thinking today about how I missed living in Detroit (I know, weird). Always had a steady supply of Oberon. The Motor City Brewing Works' Ghettoblaster...damn. I'd forgotten all about that.

High Life is a very nostalgic beer for me...my Dad would crank those back like crazy when we were kids. When we got to be about 9-10 he would let us sneek a sip when we got them out of the fridge for him. My older brother lives in Chicago and when we went to Lolla last year, he had his fridge stocked with High Life...we drank it all weekend - good time!

My Dad used to "crank back" Strohs "like crazy." I still remember the distinctive smell.

    Hoo-ray beer! :D

A good ale can have a glorious taste and the occasional lager is alright.

I love beer. I'd rather drink Newcastle Brown Ale as a beverage, for the taste, than most other drinks.
