Coors Light is quite possibly the worst beer known to man...and I can't stand their stupid commercials either. Miller Lite is the standard in the household though with the roommates. Any excuse to drink in mass quantity with a group of us? Always Miller Lite. Though I gotta say High Life is not a bad cheap beer - it IS the champagne of beers after all.0 -

Sam Adams used to make a Cranberry Lambic ... not sure if they still do.
Harpoon Brewery's Winter Warmer sounds like the latter of what you're looking for ... it's more nutmeg than ginger ... so good, but, indeed, an acquired taste.

I worked with a guy, my boss actually, and his uncle was some big wig at Coor's. We would go golfing and if it was his turn to buy the beers it was ALWAYS COORS!!!! gag......Free Coors....what a dilemma.
I cant believe I didnt mention the High Life too. Good stuff.I used to do drugs. I still do, but I used to, too.

I love the taste of beer. On a hot day there's nothing like the taste of Waggledance Honey Beer when you're sitting outside enjoying the weather. And a good dark ale tastes great in the autumnA human being that was given to fly.

Hmmmm, if so, I may become a semi-fan of Sam Adams.
And I'll check the Harpoon out...They've got a lot of Harpoon at the distributor near my place.0 -

Depends on how much I've drank so far because I really don't wanna think about what else might have been around the food. Strip club food is lower than dog shit so I've never really attempted to eat it.0 -

jked3 wrote:High Life is a very nostalgic beer for me...my Dad would crank those back like crazy when we were kids. When we got to be about 9-10 he would let us sneek a sip when we got them out of the fridge for him. My older brother lives in Chicago and when we went to Lolla last year, he had his fridge stocked with High Life...we drank it all weekend - good time!
VERY nostalgic....Always remind me of sitting with my pops on the beach down the shore in some folding chairs with a fresh one right out of the cooler still chilled just sitting there with a nice golden look with little chips of ice clinging to it....Ahhhh, never knew High Life could be that poetic...Plus, it's a pretty sweet shape for a bottle.0 -

Of course people like the taste of beer.
I am an equal opportunity drinker. I give everything a chance.
Beer has a time and place for me. Red wine is not what I drink at a BBQ. Maybe an ice cold beer or a mojito. Tho I do prefer a lighter beer. I don't like the heavy lagers and stouts anymore unless they are a part of a sampler I order at a brewery.Cause I'm broken when I'm lonesome
And I don't feel right when you're gone away0 -
I like Sam Adams Oktoberfest
and Black and Tans!Thank you fellow 10 clubber for saving my ass....again!!!0 -

Couldn't disagree more! Obviously I'm in the minority here, but I've tried probably 30 beers this year (mostly in 3 oz. flights) of imports, domestics, local specialities, and even Bud Light (when there was no other alcohol options at Shea Stadium), only to come up with the same conclusion: I hate them all! The only two things that are close to beer that I can stomach are when I do Irish Car Bombs (I quite like those) and Magners (sp?) cider. Other than that give me a nice glass of red or some whiskey cause I'm not interested otherwise!"The leads are weak!"

Laugh all you want, but a friend convinced me to try Bud Light Lime and it was really tasty. And I'm not living this life without you, I'm selfish and clear
And you're not leaving here without me, I don't wanna be without
My best... friend. Wake up, to see you could have it all0
