LMAO thats some funny shit..... you are wrong of course, I'd kill for marmite and wholegrain toast
Ok, ok, save clogging Prezzie recieved thread with marmite chat.... check out AET, i've started a "Marmite - Love it or Hate it?" thread....Been to this many PJ shows: Reading 2006 London 2007 Manchester & London 2009 Dublin, Belfast, London, Nijmegen & Berlin 2010 Manchester 1 & Manchester 2 2012...
... and I still think Drive-By Truckers are better.0 -
mensane wrote:so glad you liked it. i wasnt sure what to get, but something PJ related from a couple of blocks from my apartment seemed like a good idea. the cd is a good one....even though i am still bitter. we were at a bar a block down when the show was happening and had NO IDEA it was going on. they were loading out equipment as we walked by to go to our car. we saw Mike's guitar tech and were like "NOOOOOOOOOOOOO".
the hip flask has come in handy many times. and you can only get it at easy street, so that's cool.
thank you for organizing this. i will definitely participate next year. and i like the idea of doing something mid year....if buying packages is too much, maybe we could do an address list and send post cards from our home town to everyone on it. i love post cards.but oh my god, what a killer missing that. I can't wait to use the hip flask... was really tempted to use it this morning but had to stop myself, even thought about putting coffee in it but thought it doesn't matter, everyone will still think I'm an alcoholic
although actually it's a good way to freak people out on the bus, lol. People doing their makeup freak me out, so next time I see someone take makeup out of their bag on the bus, I'll take a swig from my hip flask
And no problempackages may be too much for mid year... but I'll come up with something, maybe a localised keyring/fridge magnet swap (everyone loves them)
although postcard's a good idea. One thing I've realised though is I'll have to up the spending amount for next year cos I think most people seem to have gone beyond... and it's IMPOSSIBLE to get anything decent for 15euro anyway.
The Astoria??? Orgazmic!
Verona??? it's all surmountable
Dublin 23.08.06 "The beauty of Ireland, right there!"

Copenhagen?? your light made us stars

I love it, I was soo excited opening it, just like a little kid. hehe.
also, I'm thinking of re-using at least some of the newspaper you'd tucked in there as wrapping paper.I think it looks cool with a nice bright ribbon.

A photo series about the "city language" of the area (I like how they put it, people working away at their art in public) or graffiti. What a perfect present! Thanks Andres..It will sit out on my table so everyone that comes by for the holiday will ask about it. Thanks for paying the shipping which I imagine was an issue, and the personal note always makes things special. Great postcard too. It will find a home on the fridge.
Merry Christmas!
Secret Santa was sooo fun this year, glad I did it. It sounds like we all got paired up pretty well. Good job HH. Thanks for all the extra work you put in.
Well, I'm so glad you like itHave a great time again and the shipping was no problem
I'll open my gift until Christmas...mainly because i haven't received it yet LOL
It's not a complain, just that I'm afraid someone might have taken it from my building :mad:I feel very close to you all now; so close I could almost... loan you money. Really. it goes that deep.

If I remember correctly I think the person was notified.. then I made a thread about being forgotten (in a nice way) and then the person sent me something at the end of January.0
