Hey everyone!! finally back at work after a lovely 5 days off....

and i am happy to report that my S.S. prezzie arrived, perfectly timed, on Christmas Eve Day!! : D

thank you soooooo much to my Secret Santa for the fun package, all the way from Australia!!! (i was so excited).... I know i didn't give you any hints at all, but a "sampler" from my Secret Santa's homeland is exactly what I wanted...

I haven't had a chance to listen to the CD yet, but the tracklist looks great!

All the snacks are almost gone!! Caramello Koala and the Tim Tam were the BEST!! admitedly, i haven't tried the Vegemite yet, but it's such a damn cute packet, i don't want to ruin it! i might save it...

And the book of poetry is lovely! it is very reminicent of my absolute favorite children's poet named Shel Silverstein, who i grew up reading...

So, before bed on christmas eve, i curled up with a hot chocoloate and baileys, my christmas lights, the poetry book, and some Aussie treats... thank you so much!!

Oh! And before I forget P.....I mean Secret Santa! I got home today from the bush and there's a card in the letter box from the postie to say come pick up my international parcel! So me thinks it's here! FINALLY!

I waited until x-mas day and this is my first day home so now have internet access and just wanted to say thank you soooooooooo much Ridin The Wave.

The book is one I've meant to pick up for years so I will now finally get round to reading it and I love starting a book that someone else recommends. The necklace and hairclips are wonderful ... definitely my taste. I got a few chocolates for christmas and everyone has been told they can help themselves to the others but the ones from you are ALL mine ... so far eaten the orange one ... yum and finally the shows ... I still have more family stuff for the next week so when I get a couple of hours to myself I will be putting one on and relaxing to escape the madness ... also your favourite show was my birthday show so perfect!

Thank you so much opening your pressies was great and thanks for the notes with each gift. Hope you and yours had a wonderful christmas and all the best for a happy new year

I received mine Thursday of last week. But I have been sick and haven't posted about it. So here I am, back at work and ready to say thank you.

I got some chocolate that I am waiting for my cold to go away so I can taste. Some very choice coffees that are in the same boat as the chocolates. A beauty glass ornament for the tree (where it is now) or the window (where it will be later). And a homemade wash cloth. Nothing says Christmas like "homemade"! And a funny card that came with it all.

I thought you might like to know that there's going to be a Paul Newman Festival in downtown Gotham this weekend!

I'm gonna line up all my Paul Newman dvd's, fire up the dvd player, make some potato salad...mmmmmmm....have a little salsa on my grilled chicken....bit of tossed salad, lightly dressed and then sit down to munch on a nice big bag of popcorn and watch back to back Paul Newman movies! And my only regret, my friend, is that you can't be here to enjoy it all with me.

OMG so glad you got it. I kept checking the status and it kept saying for 3 weeks that it was in customs. I didn't think you were ever gonna get it. lol

And nothing broke either? I'm glad you like it all.

Yeah, our customs are nazis. They're shocking, trust me! And they buggerize around too! I'm surprised I didn't get a nasty note with it, coz it's not unusual for them to do that.

Anyway, I'm thrilled, thank you pat. I went and bought Savoys and rice crackers at the supermarket for me salsa and a whole bunch of fresh salad and chicken breasts so I'm good to go for the Paul Newman Festival!

um.....the beautiful little snow globe is now a snowman figurine coz the glass didn't make it, :( which was a little disappointing because I haven't had a snow globe since I was a kid and they're so pretty. BUT he is a very fetching figurine so I'm happy! It was so nice of you to think to send it. So I'll pop it up on top of the piano with all my other trinkets. And I love all the postcards and stickers! I'll have to hide those from the niece and nephew, they're sticker maniacs! Thank you secret santa!
