I'll sacrifice the footie for the egg chasers for once in my life, I realise everyone is a little more interested in watching Wales beat Ireland, than they are in Manchester United v Portsmouth.
 You do realise I'm gonna be there

Nah! I meant rugby as opposed to footie is all :)
As long as there's music, good company and plenty to drink, I'll be happy.
Seems to me thats guaranteed ;)

What's this one like? Anybody been there? We got this chain near us, they're fine as a rule, roomy, large screen sports, cheaper than average beer :)

Most spoons pubs are pretty good in my experience. Lacking in character maybe but there's enough of that in people here anyway so... :D

Babs and I had a drink there the other day before QOTSA...yeah, no atmosphere, but cheap beer and 2mn from the Apollo..they say they have TVs though I don't recall any, but then it was early evening, maybe they didn't have them on.
    It's a Lloyd's still bar, there's another wetherspoon nearby, further along King's st: http://www.jdwetherspoon.co.uk/pubs/pub-details.php?PubNumber=2175
not open as late but we could be there before the gig then move to the other one when most of the people are at NY's, so they can join us after (Emma, if you change your mind and decide to stay in London overnight, you're welcome at mine..Rob too..promise I won't lock you out this time ;))

    I like wheterspoon prices :D

no offense of course. you might be the youngest but there are a few people not-so-much-ahead-of-you in the age-game so not to worry!

hehe. 21 this year! woo. :D

ach, no matter what age you'd be or the other people are, in a PJ crowd it's hard to feel out of place. :)

I remember the first time I went to Dublin (in 2006 to see PJ) I was the youngest one around most of the time so when people would ask me my age they'd always go "aww bless" when I told them I was 19. lol.
