I think he'll be trying to make you watch rugby :)

Rugby's OK. It's too complicated as opposed to too boring, so a step up from football. :D

Just heard there's a big cup tie that day, clashing with the rugby!!! Bugger, I'll have to find a pub with 2 televisions!!!

I don't know any, obviously. But there's a few of these near me, cheap and cheerful...mind if FinsburyPC is gracing us with his presence, we'll need a pub with an old 'Joanna', so he can entertain us in a cockney knees up type stylee.

oh scary... 40000 morbidly obese christians wearing fanny packs invading europe is probably the least scariest thing since I watched an edited version of The Care Bears movie in an extremely brightly lit cinema.

I'd rather spend a few hours chatting and enjoying each other's company than eyes glued to a TV.... but that's just me.

  • All this talk of watching rugby or football is giving me a headache. If I try to watch either for more than 5 minutes, this meet up's going to be an out-and-out Snooze fest. Sorry to be negative. ;)

    Poof ! ;):p

I'll sacrifice the footie for the egg chasers for once in my life, I realise everyone is a little more interested in watching Wales beat Ireland, than they are in Manchester United v Portsmouth.

Ahhh...flaw in your arguement there....with the Man U vs Pompey match its obvious Man U would win, whereas watching Wales V Ireland is a bit more critical.

(btw...I do like Man U aswell...just prefer to watch Rugby)! :D

2007 ░▒▓ London, Dusseldorf, Copenhagen, Nijmegen
    2009 ░▒▓ Manchester, London
    2010 ░▒▓ Hyde Park

You mean you give the Irish a chance? :D

(Yeah, Man U is my team, and chances are they'll go through, so it's watching the men with funny shaped balls then)
