    It's hard to say. He's still a strikeout stud, but when they hit him, they go a long way. At this point, my guess is that AL batters just have his number.

    Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia underwent a "left knee joint preservation procedure" in Colorado on Tuesday, the team announced.

    Pedroia will begin rehabbing from the procedure in Arizona, the Red Sox added.

    Ongoing knee problems have limited Pedroia to nine MLB games since 2017. Though he managed to suit up for six games in April, Pedroia went 2-for-20 before a flare-up sent him back to the injured list. In May, he was moved to the 60-day IL following a setback during a minor-league rehab assignment.

    Although the Red Sox never ruled him out for the season, Pedroia was considered unlikely to make a quick return to the diamond. When asked in May if he'd be able to play baseball again, the 2008 AL MVP answered, "I'm not sure."




    Pedroia turns 36 next week. He has spent his entire 14-year career in Boston, where he's amassed 1,805 hits and won three World Series championships.

    So do the NYY and they made sure to stay under the Luxury Tax Threshold. I get they won the WS, but the  Sox were already penalized last year with not only money, but dropped 10 spots in the Draft.

    That's a good question. I thought the Astros when the playoffs started, but the Nats on a Roll. I do know i'm looking forward to the WS as BOTH teams have real good STARTING pitchers.  Will be interesting how the Nats hit with a long lay-off.

    I will never consider stealing signs as cheating. No matter what team does it.

    Using technology to steal signs, though, is bullshit. 

    My opinion is that technology should have no home at any ballpark, and that goes for fucking clocks, too.
