i wasnt an audiophile until i found out how headphones COULD sound. it's amazing. mine are the little earbuds, i cant imagine what the others sound like.0 -
My last big purchase was .......gutters, d'oh. I do love going outside in the pouring rain and watching how well they work but they are not that exciting.
I too want a new HD TV and income tax refunds are a comin' but I don't think it's going to happen. I bet it's going to boil down to either new bedroom furniture or our savings getting a nice little additional cushion.d'oh0 -
MacBook with an extended service plan and a Microsoft Office bundle. Nothing fancy, but not exactly a Speak 'N Spell, either."Almost all those politicians took money from Enron, and there they are holding hearings. That's like O.J. Simpson getting in the Rae Carruth jury pool." -- Charles Barkley0

girls that can afford $700 shoes do!
they are sexy shoes and even my husband said *WOW*
GTD: I usually wear the shoes with jeans and a simple shirt or with a fitted jacket. when you spend that much money on shoes you figure out a way to work them into any outfit!"you shall be released" ~ EV0 -

man it sucks. I remember when I was a kid my parents could fill their 175 gallon tank for like 140 bucks. the good ole days....
and to think this will someday be the good ole days to my son....All that's sacred, comes from youth....dedications, naive and true.0 -

No, but I want those boots and can't find them anywhere in stores or on-line. I can almost justify the cost of those boots because of how often I wear boots in winter."you shall be released" ~ EV0 -

yeah that's how I would wear them too, but my clothes are so ill-fitting, it would look ridiculous. my jeans always have to be cuffed! and I never have any cute tops, I just have 5 long-sleeved tshirts and 3 sweaters from the gap.0 -
I bought a MacBook about three weeks ago. I see a few of you have recently purchased one also. I love it. Although there has been a slight learning curve adapting from Windows.
It's amazing to me how it just "works". I thought I had problems with my wireless network with my old laptop. Now I just zip right along.VHC member #155***

I "bought" 1300 dollars worth of surgery for my cat.
And 1200 dollars for VIP bonnaroo tickets.
I'd do both again in a heartbeat0 -

I have to say that my last big purchase was buying my house back in late September of last year. Although in the next few months it's probably going to change to a new car as my wife's current vehicle is getting dangerously close to becoming junyard scrap metal.0

My second semester tuition and Bonnaroo ticket have been my only major purchases this year.“Hello, babies. Welcome to Earth. It’s hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It’s round and wet and crowded. At the outside, babies, you’ve got about a hundred years here. There’s only one rule that I know of, babies — ‘God damn it, you’ve got to be kind.’” - Kurt Vonnegut0

This isn't a lot as far as total cash, but since it was for a blog it seemed ridiculous in that big-spend way of looking at things.
I bought an annual service for an MLBlog for $50.00. I have 6 blogs on blogger that are free, but I wanted to go for this. If you see an MLBlog entitled BRob's Bobblehead Biscotti Bootleg then you know it's me. Once I start posting you'll get my angle.
Even though I've created blogs on blogger, and on myspace, i can't for the life of me figure out how to start this one. I got the receipt in email, but no instructions on where to go to type my title, my links and how to post the first post. Hmmmmmmm? There is no such thing as leftover pizza. There is now pizza and later pizza. - anonymous

$1700 (unexpectedly) for a new washer/dryer yesterday. The old washer bit the dust and (per the wife) we couldn't replace one without the other. What a bogus way to spent $1700 :(.If I had known then what I know now...
