I have not had to deal with stones or hairy arse syndrome, and for this I consider myself lucky. But I do need to go to the dentist. It's something I've been putting off for quite some time now. :( Not sure what I'm more afraid of - the procedures I'll have to go through or the $$ it'll cost me.

I have heard other women say childbirth was less painful than a tooth ache b/c at least you know labor pains will come to an end!
I've had 14 root canals and I got a tooth pulled b/c I refused to have another one. The pain is indeed excruciating. I hope that you feel better soon.

Had my root canal today! It was not nearly as bad as I suspected. The dentist did have to inject me with more novacaine 3 separate times during the procedure, but I would get another one if I had to.
