    Tina Fey is extremely hot for some reason. Maybe it's because of the teacher/librarian look she has with her outfit and glasses.

    I always thought Janeane Garofalo was hot in the 90's..still kinda now.

    I'm finding this kinda tough as a guy. I don't think there are that many female celebrities who aren't known for their looks. Women, on the other hand, seem to have plenty to choose from.

    I think Harry Potter was ruined for me when I was watching the order of the pheonix and I'm like "hmm daniel radcliff is hot...god, I can't believe I just thought that, I really hope he's over 18 now..."

    right off the top of my head:
    frances mcdormand
    joan allen
    kathy bates.....kathy butler


    LOTs of female actresses not cast for their *looks*...but their acting chops. especially in the older woman category. but even with the younger women, there are always those girls cast in the 'ugly ducking' type roles. who was that girl in welcome to the dollhouse....? so yes, PLENTY of female actresses NOT cast for their good looks. sure, some may be great actresses AND gorgeous.....but really, it's a bit rare.
