  • Are Flyers fans still on the Bob bandwagon? Seems like he's cooled off a bit lately, and it's a long season for someone who never played that many games.

I'm always on the Boush bandwagon, ever since 5/4/00. It was nice to ride Bob to all those points in the 15 straight games he played, but he got tired out from it.

  • Heard they put Leighton on waivers :( They guy stood on his head for them last year in the playoff run but can't carry 3 with Bob and Boush playing really well all things considered. We wouldn't be Philly if we weren't griping about something sports related.
So many amazing shows! Thank you.

Flyers physically dominated the Canadiens and Leighton was lousy in the Finals. Boucher did most of the work in the first 2 rounds. I hope Leighton gets claimed.

    Holy shit

One of the many rumors that have been circulating now that Darryl Sutter has resigned as GM of the Calgary Flames is that Jarome Iginla might be sent to Philadelphia.

Assuming that new Calgary GM Jay Feaster and Flyers GM Paul Holmgren can hammer this deal out, and that’s a HUGE if, it would be a great move for both teams.

The Flyers would have to give up players like Scott Hartnell and Matt Walker to alleviate cap room and they would most likely have to add some prospects and picks. Rumors have swirled about Andreas Nodl and Eric Wellwood, but nothing is confirmed.

Philadelphia would also have to cut ties with one of their goalies. Depending on how they handle this situation, the Flyers may choose to send Bobrovsky down to the Adirondack Phantoms for more experience and to help with cap space.

Iginla would bring a lot to the Flyers and his addition could be the last piece in Stanley Cup puzzle.

This kind of seems like a little too many roosters in the hen house. Like the disastrous Adam Oates trade, maybe. It doesn't hurt to keep grinders like Hartnell.

while I agree that this is a long shot, if you can get iginla without giving up any of the core talent (ie, not hartnell...have you ever seen an NHL player fall down as much as hartnell?? he is on his ass half the time he's on the ice), you do it.

iginla isn't afraid to get his nose dirty. he'll go into the corners, in front of the net, fight...whatever

So, apparently Langenbrunner's a healthy scratch and is looking to be coming here? Any validity to this?

He gone. He waived his no trade clause. I'm guessing we find out post game.

Man what happened to jersey. They have fallen so far so fast

Definitely. Loving all the Flyers fans there as well.

And Danny Briere scores for a case of Tastykakes!(Flyers/Comcast should be buying them by the truck load. Seriously, help those delicious people out!)

    Nice comeback win Fly guys!

Not sure what is wrong with the Devils. I traded for Brodeur about a month ago and then just dropped him last week.

It's a lottery. Flyers didn't get it in 2007. Got JVR instead of Kane.
